Continued weakness in Crude and Heating Oil wasn't enough to bail out equities today, with all three of the major indexes off for the day. Clearly, the tech stocks led the way down, with a fairly significant loss of almost 30 points on the Nasdaq. Gold and Silver were barely up on the day, with Copper modestly lower. Sugar set another new contract high today, although today's gains were quite modest.

Things should get really slow by the end of this week, and we may not see much more activity before 2006 is here.

Our TNR model called for a trending day in ES today, and although we went long in the morning, we reversed to the short side at 1:15 and rode the sell-off all the way down to our 4:00 exit. Net total gains on the day were $436. Tomorow we are looking for a reversion day in NQ.
