It was an interesting day in the metals today. Overnight, Gold and Silver exploded to new highs, and opend the NY session with a significant gap up. For the rest of the day, they traded straight down, with Gold closing barely up from Friday's close, and Silver actually closing lower than Friday's close. Is this the start of a fairly serious correction? I'm sure everyone who has missed this rally is hoping so.

Sugar again set contract highs today, but the grains and the dollar seem to be moving against us right now. We bought 2 NQ contracts at the close for the System B account, and this position will show up on tomorrow's report.

Our TNR model was calling for a trending day in ES and NQ, and we went short 2 ES contracts mid-morning. We closed out that position at our 4:00 exit for a loss of $332 on the day. No trade set up for NQ.

The model is calling for a trending day again tomorrow in both ES and NQ.
