Our metals trades (gold and copper) continue to do their share. Both were up on the day, with copper making a new contract high. We'll just keep riding this wave until it dumps us off... Treasury futures were closed for the Veterans day holiday, and most everything else seemed pretty quiet today.

Our TNR model called for a reversion day today in ES and NQ, and that is exactly what we got. There was some late day strength in ES, which we faded right into our 4:00 exit time for a net gain of $168. With our NQ trades, we made $312 on a short trade we put on at 10:00, and we then reversed long at 12:00, and kept that position until 4:00. Unfortunately the second trade wound up losing $108, so net on the day, both contracts, was a gain of $372. TNR is calling for a trend day in both contracts again on Monday.

Its hard not to be impressed with the strength in equities over the past two weeks. Not only is the price performance strong, but the Trannies have hit new all-time highs, and the financials seem to get stronger and stronger each day (both of which seem to be bell-weathers for the overall market). However, I'm guessing there will be some sort of pause to this action. Trends often seem to change directon around holidays, and perhaps we'll see some sort of pull-back from now to the Thanksgiving holiday... regardless, we'll stick to our knitting, and trade the trends.
